My Approach

My therapy room is a warm and non-judgmental space where you can expect to feel welcome and respected. Your therapy will be anchored in my years of training in Integrative Transactional Analysis psychotherapy. We will explore your history and learn about the different parts of your personality to support you to resolve inner conflicts and find connection and peace with yourself.

Psychoeducation is part of how I practice and I share relevant psychotherapy and neurobiology theory to empower you to understand yourself better, and develop a more compassionate inner voice.

My practice is Trauma-Informed and Neuroaffirmative. I work with an Intersectional lens and educate myself about how experiences of discrimination and privilege may influence your therapeutic experience. All aspects of your identity are welcome, and I pay attention to how my own experiences and identities may connect with yours.

Some example themes I work with:

  • Depression

  • Anxiety

  • Relationship difficulties

  • Quietening the critical inner voice

  • Loneliness

  • Life transitions

  • Improving self-esteem

  • Addictive and compulsive behaviours

  • Saying no and maintaining healthy boundaries

  • Coping with trauma
